What Is an IPTV Reseller Panel? A Plain Guide

The reseller panel is where your business lives: your credit balance, your customer lines, renewals and login details. Here is how it works.

5 min read

An IPTV reseller panel is the web dashboard where a reseller runs the business. It holds your credit balance, lists every customer line you have created, and lets you create, extend and look up lines in a few clicks. If credits are your stock, the IPTV reseller panel is your shop counter and your filing cabinet at once. This guide explains what you will find in it, what you will do there each day, and the habits that keep it tidy as your customer list grows.

What an IPTV reseller panel does

Every IPTV reseller panel is built around the same few jobs:

  • Show your balance. How many credits you have left to spend on new lines and renewals.
  • Create lines. One line per customer, with a username, a password and a length.
  • Extend lines. Add months to an existing line when a customer renews.
  • List your customers. Every line you created, with its end date, so you can see who is due to renew.
  • Show login details. The details your customer types into their player app.

At iStream Central your panel is created automatically when you buy a reseller pack, and your credits are added to it at the same time. You sign in, and you can create your first line straight away.

How credits are used inside the panel

When you create a line you choose its length. The panel takes the credits for that length from your balance. At iStream Central 1 credit pays for one customer month, so the lengths cost:

Line length Credits used Your cost at €3 a credit Your cost at the bonus rate
1 month 1 €3 €2.31
3 months 3 €9 €6.93
6 months 6 €18 €13.86
12 months 12 €36 €27.72

As of October 2026, one credit costs €3. Renewals work the same way: extending a line by 6 months takes 6 credits. Nothing is charged at the end of the month, because you paid for the credits up front. For a full walk through the credit rule, see our IPTV glossary, which also explains the other words you will meet in the panel.

What a customer line contains

Each line is one customer account. When you open a line in your IPTV reseller panel you will usually see:

Username and password

These are what your customer types into their app. Many panels let you choose them or create them for you. Choose something that is easy to type on a TV remote and avoid characters that look alike, such as the letter O and the number 0.

Length and end date

The date the line ends. This is the most important field for your business, because it tells you when to send a renewal reminder.

Login formats

Most panels show the same line in more than one format, such as a playlist link (often called an M3U link) and a username and password login for apps that sign in that way. Which one your customer needs depends on the app they use. Our guide to sending login details to customers shows how to send them clearly and safely.

Notes

If your panel has a notes field, use it. A short note such as the customer's device and the app they use saves time every time they ask for help.

Daily work in the panel

A reseller's day in the panel is short. A typical routine looks like this:

  1. Check new orders. Create a line for each customer who has paid, and send the details.
  2. Check end dates. Sort or filter your lines by end date and note every line that ends within the next seven days.
  3. Send reminders. Message those customers with their renewal price and how to pay.
  4. Extend paid renewals. Add the months to each line as payments come in.
  5. Check your balance. If it will not cover next week's renewals, top up now rather than mid sale.

Done this way, the panel takes minutes a day, not hours.

Keeping your panel tidy as you grow

When you have five customers, you remember everything. When you have fifty, you will not. A few habits make an IPTV reseller panel easy to run at any size:

  • Name lines consistently. Use a pattern such as first name plus a number, so you can find anyone in seconds.
  • Keep one outside list. A simple spreadsheet with name, contact, line length, start date, end date and price paid. The panel holds the line, the list holds the relationship.
  • Never share your own sign in. Your panel login is yours alone. Anyone who has it can spend your credits.
  • Use a strong password for the panel and change it if you ever think someone else saw it.

When a spreadsheet stops being enough

At some point, sending every payment link and every renewal reminder by hand becomes the slow part of your business. That is the moment to look at a proper storefront where customers order and pay on their own. At iStream Central, a single purchase of 250 credits or more comes with your own IPTVbp store on the Professional plan, free for 90 days from that purchase, and IPTVbp can create and renew lines from your panel when a customer pays.

Common questions about the panel

Can I see how many credits each customer used?

The panel shows each line's length and end date. Your outside list, with the price each customer paid, turns that into a picture of your income and costs.

What happens if my balance runs out?

You cannot create or extend lines until you top up. That is why the daily balance check matters: buy credits before a renewal is due, not after.

Get your own IPTV reseller panel

An IPTV reseller panel is simple once you have used it for a day: create lines, extend lines, watch end dates and keep your balance topped up. To get yours, choose a pack on the reseller page or start with 20 credits for €60. Your panel and credits are ready as soon as the payment goes through.
