How to Become an IPTV Reseller: A Step by Step Start

The whole path in one place: buying credits, getting your panel, creating lines, setting prices and keeping customers happy.

4 min read

If you want to become an IPTV reseller, the good news is that the business itself is simple to understand. You buy credits at a fixed price, you use them to create customer lines in a reseller panel, and you sell those lines at your own price. The work that decides whether you succeed is everything around that: choosing who you sell to, setting fair prices, answering questions quickly and remembering renewals. This guide walks through each step in the order you will meet it.

Step 1: understand what you are buying

Before you become an IPTV reseller, be clear about the product. You are not buying a box or an app. You are buying credits, and credits are turned into customer lines. At iStream Central, 1 credit pays for one customer month, so a 3 month line uses 3 credits and a 12 month line uses 12 credits. As of October 2026, one credit costs €3.

That means your cost for every product you sell is known in advance:

Line length Credits used Your cost at €3 a credit Your cost at the bonus rate
1 month 1 €3 €2.31
3 months 3 €9 €6.93
6 months 6 €18 €13.86
12 months 12 €36 €27.72

If any of these terms are new, our guide to the reseller panel explains what the panel is and what you do in it.

Step 2: decide who you will sell to

Most people who become an IPTV reseller start with people they already know: friends, family, neighbors, colleagues and local groups. That is a sensible start because trust already exists and support is easier when you can explain things in person or by message.

Questions to answer before your first sale

  • Who are your first ten possible customers, by name?
  • Which devices do they use at home: smart TVs, Android boxes, phones, tablets or computers?
  • How will they reach you when they need help, and when will you answer?
  • How will they pay you?

Writing these answers down takes ten minutes and saves you from guessing later.

Step 3: get your reseller panel and credits

At iStream Central the setup is handled for you. You choose a reseller pack, pay at the checkout, and your reseller panel is created and your credits are added to it automatically. The how it works section on the home page shows the four steps from order to first line.

The smallest first order is 20 credits for €60. For most new resellers that is the right place to begin. It covers a handful of customers, it keeps your money free for other costs, and it lets you learn the panel before you buy more. If you want the reasoning behind starting small, read how to start an IPTV business with a small pack.

Step 4: set your prices

Your price must cover the credits, your payment fees and your time. A worked example with made-up retail prices:

Line length Credits Your cost Example price Your profit Margin
1 month 1 €3 €9 €6 67%
3 months 3 €9 €24 €15 63%
6 months 6 €18 €45 €27 60%
12 months 12 €36 €81 €45 56%

Notice how the example price per month drops on longer lines while the profit per sale grows. Customers like paying less per month, and you like fewer, larger sales. Whatever you choose, write your prices down in one place and use the same prices for everyone. Changing prices from one person to the next is one of the fastest ways to lose trust.

Step 5: create your first lines

When a customer pays, you create their line in the panel. You choose the length, the panel takes the credits, and you receive the login details for that line. You then send those details to your customer together with short instructions for the app they use.

A simple first week routine

  1. Create one line for yourself first and test it on your own device, so you know exactly what the customer will see.
  2. Prepare a short welcome message with the login details, the name of the app you suggest and how to reach you.
  3. Create lines for your first customers and keep a simple list: name, contact, line length, start date and end date.
  4. Check in with each customer a day later and ask if everything works.

Step 6: look after customers and renewals

The real profit in this business comes from customers who stay. A customer who renews for a year is worth far more than three new customers who leave after a month. To become an IPTV reseller people come back to, do the basics well:

  • Answer messages within the hours you promised.
  • Remind customers a week before their line ends, and again a few days before.
  • Offer a longer length at renewal time, with a clear price.
  • Keep notes about each customer's device, so you can help quickly next time.

Step 7: grow when the numbers say so

Once you become an IPTV reseller with a few regular customers, grow in steps you can measure. When your balance runs low faster than you expected, buy a bigger pack. When you answer the same question three times, write a short guide for it. When people ask friends to contact you, thank them with a small referral reward. And when you reach the point of buying 250 credits or more in one purchase, you also get your own IPTVbp store on the Professional plan, free for 90 days from that purchase, so customers can order and pay without you sending every message by hand.

Ready to become an IPTV reseller?

You do not need experience, a website or a large budget to begin. You need a clear offer, a small first order and the habit of answering customers well. Look over the packs and prices on the reseller page, and when you are ready, start with 20 credits.
