IPTV Reseller Business Plan: A Simple One-Page Template

A one-page plan for a reseller business: customers, offers, costs from real credit prices, a first order, break-even, a weekly routine and milestones.

An IPTV reseller business plan does not need to be a thick document. One page, written honestly, answers the questions that decide whether your business works: who you sell to, what you offer, what it costs you, how much you need to start and what you will do each week. This guide gives you a simple template for an IPTV reseller business plan, with the cost figures filled in from iStream Central's real credit prices as of October 2026. If you are still deciding whether to start at all, read how to become an IPTV reseller first.

Who you sell to

The first line of any IPTV reseller business plan is your customer. Write one or two sentences about the people you plan to reach first. Many resellers start with people who already know them: friends, family, colleagues, a local community or a club. Be specific. "Neighbors in my building who have asked me about it" is far more useful than "everyone".

Note how these people like to be contacted and how they would prefer to pay. Both shape the rest of the plan. Also note what they need help with most often, such as setting up an app on a new device, because that tells you what kind of support you will be giving every week.

What you offer

Decide your line lengths and a price for each. A common ladder is 1, 3, 6 and 12 months, with a lower price per month on longer lines. The table below uses example prices set at a simple multiple of your credit cost, stepping down for longer lines. They are a starting point, not advice; your own market decides your real prices.

Line length Credits Your cost Example price Your profit Margin
1 month 1 €3 €9 €6 67%
3 months 3 €9 €24 €15 63%
6 months 6 €18 €45 €27 60%
12 months 12 €36 €81 €45 56%

Write your offer in one line

Your plan should fit your offer into a single sentence a customer understands at once, for example: "1 month €9, 3 months €24, 6 months €45, 12 months €81, renewals reminded a week ahead." If you cannot say it that simply, simplify the offer.

What it costs you

This is the part of an IPTV reseller business plan that people skip, and it is the part that matters most. At iStream Central 1 credit pays for one customer month, and one credit costs €3. Your cost for each line length is:

Line length Credits used Your cost at €3 a credit Your cost at the bonus rate
1 month 1 €3 €2.31
3 months 3 €9 €6.93
6 months 6 €18 €13.86
12 months 12 €36 €27.72

Packs from 100 credits include 30 extra credits or more, which brings the price to €2.31 a credit and the cost of a 12 month line down to €27.72.

Add your other costs on the same page: payment fees, a phone and internet connection you already pay for, a simple website if you want one, and your time. Writing them down stops a healthy looking margin from hiding a loss.

Your first order

The smallest first order is 20 credits for €60. If every one of those credits became a paid month at the example price of €9, the order would earn €120 before fees. You can start with 20 credits and learn the panel with real customers before committing more money.

When you break even

A good IPTV reseller business plan says plainly when the money you put in comes back. Your start-up money is the first order plus any small costs such as a website. Each 1 month line sold at €9 leaves €6, and each 12 month line sold at €81 leaves €45. Divide your start-up money by the profit per line to see how many paid lines you need before you are ahead. Then add renewals to the picture: a customer who renews brings the same profit again without the setup work, so a plan with steady renewals breaks even sooner than one that relies only on new sales.

Our guide to profit margins at different prices shows how the numbers change if you price higher or lower.

Your weekly routine

An IPTV reseller business plan is only useful if it turns into habits. Put a short weekly routine on your page:

  • check your customer list for lines that run out in the next two weeks,
  • send renewal reminders,
  • answer every message within a day,
  • post one useful update where your customers are,
  • check your credit balance against the renewals due,
  • note what brought in each new customer.

Milestones

Finish your IPTV reseller business plan with a few milestones, so you know when to change gear:

  1. Your first paid customers, and their first renewals.
  2. A steady number of credits used each month, which tells you what pack size to buy next.
  3. Your first longer lines, as customers move from monthly to 6 or 12 months.
  4. A single purchase of 250 credits or more, which unlocks your own IPTVbp store on the Professional plan, free for 90 days from that purchase.

Put it on one page, then start

Keep your IPTV reseller business plan where you can see it, and update it once a month with real numbers instead of guesses. The first version will be wrong in places, and that is fine: the point is to notice early. See every pack and its price per credit on the reseller page, or start with 20 credits for €60.

Common questions

What goes into an IPTV reseller business plan?

Who you sell to, what you offer and at what price, what each line costs you in credits, your first order, when you break even, a weekly routine and a few milestones.

How much money do I need to start?

The smallest first order at iStream Central is 20 credits for €60. Add any small costs such as a website, and that is your start-up money.

How do I work out when I break even?

Divide your start-up money by the profit on each line you sell. At an example price of €9, a 1 month line leaves €6 after the credit cost.

How often should I update my plan?

Once a month is enough. Replace your guesses with the real numbers: credits used, renewals, new customers and what brought them in.
