IPTV Reseller 2026: A One Page Business Plan
Seven boxes that fit on one sheet: your customers, your offer, money in, money out, your hours, what could go wrong and the one number to watch.
A one page business plan is the right size for a reseller business. It is short enough to write in an evening and keep on your desk, and long enough to stop the mistakes that cost new resellers money. This guide gives you a one page business plan for 2026 as seven boxes to fill in, with the cost figures taken from iStream Central's live credit price as of October 2026, a filled example and a short monthly check to keep it honest. If you want a longer template with break even worked out in detail, our reseller business plan guide has one.
Why one page is enough
Long plans get written once and never read again. A single sheet gets looked at every week, which is the point. Each box below asks one question and should take one or two sentences to answer. If an answer needs more room, the idea behind it is probably not clear yet. A one page business plan also forces choices: there is no space to list every idea, only the ones you will act on.
The seven boxes
Box 1: who I sell to first
Name the first group, as specifically as you can: "colleagues on my shift who have asked me about it" beats "everyone". Add how they like to be contacted.
Box 2: what I offer
Your line lengths and the price of each, in one sentence a customer understands at once. Use the 2026 pricing strategy guide to build the ladder.
Box 3: money in
How many lines you expect to sell in the first month and the first three months, and at what price. Base the first month on the names in box 1, not on hope. Keep it modest; this box is for your own planning, not for impressing anyone.
Box 4: money out
What each line costs you. At iStream Central 1 credit pays for one customer month and a credit costs €3:
| Line length | Credits used | Your cost at €3 a credit | Your cost at the bonus rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | 1 | €3 | €2.31 |
| 3 months | 3 | €9 | €6.93 |
| 6 months | 6 | €18 | €13.86 |
| 12 months | 12 | €36 | €27.72 |
Add payment fees, your phone and anything else you pay for because of the business. There is no monthly fee for the panel itself, so in a quiet month your only costs are your own.
Box 5: my hours
How many hours a week you can give the business, and when. Messages answered within the day matter more to customers than messages answered at midnight. Write the hours as real times, such as weekday evenings from seven to nine, so you can tell customers exactly when to expect an answer.
Box 6: what could go wrong
Write the two or three things most likely to hurt you and what you will do about each. For example: "I run out of credits during a busy week" becomes "I check my balance every Sunday and reorder below a set level". Or: "a customer cannot get the app working" becomes "I keep setup steps for each common device ready to send".
Box 7: the one number I watch
Pick one number to check every week. For a new reseller it is usually renewals: how many lines that ended this month were renewed. It tells you more about the health of the business than new sales do.
A filled example
Here is the same one page business plan filled in for a new reseller, with example prices:
- Who: friends and colleagues who have asked, reached by message.
- Offer: 1 month €9, 3 months €24, 6 months €45, 12 months €81.
- Money in: a handful of lines in month one, most of them 1 month lines.
- Money out: €3 for a 1 month line and €36 for a 12 month line, plus payment fees.
- Start: the smallest first order, 20 credits for €60.
- Hours: an hour most evenings, messages answered by the next morning.
- Risk: forgetting renewals; fixed by a weekly list of lines ending in the next two weeks.
- Number: renewals out of lines ending each month.
At the example price, each 1 month line leaves €6 before fees, and each 12 month line leaves €45.
Common gaps in a first plan
The first version of a one page business plan usually has the same gaps:
- no figure for payment fees,
- money in based on hope rather than names,
- no hours written down, so the business takes whatever time is left,
- no plan for a week when you are ill or away.
Fill these in before your first order. A one page business plan with its gaps filled is worth more than a long one that skips them.
Your first order in the plan
The smallest first order is 20 credits for €60, enough for 20 customer months. Put that figure in box 4 as your start-up money. If you have not seen the service yet, order the free 24-hour test line first and note what your customers will see. Not sure which way to start? Read which way to become an IPTV reseller.
A monthly check of your one page business plan
Once a month, take ten minutes and replace guesses with real numbers:
- How many lines did I sell, and of which lengths?
- How many lines ended, and how many were renewed?
- Did my costs match box 4?
- What did customers ask most, and can I answer it faster next time?
- Where did each new customer come from?
The last question feeds your marketing; our marketing basics guide shows what to do with the answer. Add one milestone at the bottom of the sheet: a single purchase of 250 credits or more, which comes with your own IPTVbp store on the Professional plan, free for 90 days from that purchase.
Write it tonight
A plan written tonight beats a perfect plan written never. Fill in the seven boxes, read the guide to starting this year for the first week, then see every pack on the reseller page or start with 20 credits for €60.
Common questions
What goes on a one page plan for a reseller?
Who you sell to first, what you offer at which prices, money in, money out, your weekly hours, what could go wrong and the one number you watch each week.
How much start-up money should the plan show?
At iStream Central the smallest first order is 20 credits for €60, which covers 20 customer months. Add any small costs of your own, such as payment fees.
Which number should I watch first?
Renewals: how many of the lines that ended this month were renewed. It shows whether customers are happy enough to stay, which matters more than new sales.
How often should I update the plan?
Once a month is enough. Replace your guesses with real numbers for sales, renewals, costs and where new customers came from.
Ready to start?
Pick a credit pack. Your panel is set up automatically after payment.
